Abstract in brief
This study investigated how two types of manual therapy, SNAGs and passive joint mobilization, impact neck movement, head repositioning accuracy, and balance in people with chronic dizziness caused by neck issues, over a period of 12 weeks.
Results showed that SNAG therapy significantly improved neck range of motion in all directions immediately after treatment and maintained these improvements for 12 weeks, whereas passive mobilization had limited effects.
However, neither treatment had a significant impact on balance or how accurately participants could reposition their heads, indicating that while SNAGs help with neck mobility, they might not directly improve dizziness symptoms related to balance or head position accuracy.]
