I flew Houston to NZ and SF to AUS for work. Both flights were 15h plus "business class" because US Gov-funded flights can't fund First Class - but I had a lie-flat bed. United absolutely provided us PJs to change into for the flights. If it's okay then, then who are we kidding.

40 yrs ago, my family doctor waited 2 weeks after injury or surgery, since the thought was physio would make things worse. He had a narrow (time-appropriate) view of what physiotherapists do.
Sending them for training for other things, eg behavior, comfort, makes sense -- but only to a trainer who knows what to do when. My physiotherapist likes to see people soon after injuries so she can tell them what not to do, and what to watch for, and what exercises to do when.
