Abstract in brief

  • The study explores how eye movements relate to recalling past and future events, finding that people tend to look more to the right when thinking about future events.
  • Gaze positions during initially learning (encoding) of information can predict where someone will look when recalling that information later.
  • The results suggest that our mental timeline for past and future is spatially represented and influences how we move our eyes during memory processes.]

tbc I dont think being “stuck” in time in the eye of the beholder is a bad thing. letting people be happy is the way, but there is so much dressed up misery in all this. kids w empty eyes. keeping up w the perceived joneses is the hand puppeteering so many of these people and the facades wear thin
