Abstract in brief
The study examined how different lifestyle interventions, including diet and physical activity, impact fat distribution in various body regions over 18 months in adults with obesity and dyslipidemia.
Results showed that both the Mediterranean low-carb diet and physical activity particularly reduced visceral fat and liver fat, with the combination of the two being more effective than diet alone.
Overall, physical activity had a stronger influence on reducing visceral fat regardless of diet, and the Mediterranean diet was particularly effective in decreasing fat in the liver and around the heart, contributing to healthier fat redistribution.]
This is interesting! for NAFLD liver disease (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) a Mediterranean Diet with low carb (<40 g/day) for 18 months, plus exercise, lead to substantial drop in liver fat % over Med Diet alone w/ exercise. Link to paper here: https://t.co/12i9FcNcsS? https://t.co/DygH1refwa

@Race__Realist @IndPatriotLV @BioLayne @whsource My patients usually take 2 months or less to lose that amount of weight.
I'm not saying exercise does not work, but it's not very effective. Exercise has many other benefits, that show up really fast, but weight lost its not one of them.
