The discussions demonstrate high curiosity and support for the research, with users referencing specific biological mechanisms like ATP synthase and metabolic water. Words like 'fascinating' and commands to 'watch the video' highlight their keen interest, while sharing detailed insights reflects moderate engagement. The overall tone suggests that the community recognizes the potential importance of deuteronation in health and aging, though the impact remains primarily academic and informational at this stage.
AgreementModerate agreement
Most discussions support the scientific explanations and potential implications of deuteronation, reflecting general agreement with the research findings.
InterestHigh interest
Posts show high interest, with many references to videos and detailed explanations about metabolic water and ATPase function.
EngagementModerate engagement
Some users actively discuss the mechanisms of deuteron effects and share resources or videos, indicating moderate engagement.
ImpactModerate impact
The discussions suggest that the topic may influence health and metabolic research, but there is not yet widespread behavioral change or policy discussions.
Abstract in brief
The text explains that in nature, deuterium (a heavier isotope of hydrogen) is much less common than regular hydrogen, but in body fluids, the likelihood of deuteron (deuterium nucleus) attaching instead of a proton to certain parts of ATP synthase and other proteins is significant enough to affect their function.
Deuteronation can slow down essential processes like the release of protons in mitochondria and electron transfer in the electron transport chain, which may impair energy production and increase the formation of harmful free radicals.
These disruptions caused by deuteronation could interfere with the structure and activity of important biomolecules, potentially contributing to issues like heavy water toxicity and the aging process.

Since levels of deuterium are lower in higher altitudes, less Solar Irradiance is required for optimal ATPase function.
If you live closer to the equator it's best to be out in the sun more for optimizing ATP production and negating effects of D2O water.

@nicknorwitz That can be true, if you start the ketogenic diet, your body starts to produce more metabolic (deupleted) water. Deuterium depletion is important! :) please watch this video: https://t.co/SOjnsBhXL6

@BobLeung4 @Rhys__G It’s pretty interesting, I would also recommend you a video from Dr. Boros (UCLA Professor) please watch it, if you have time: https://t.co/SOjnsBhXL6
@KetoCarnivore @PharmacistCath @ketoians @resurge20 @KetoAurelius @YourKetoDiet @eco_keto @KetoDietZone @KetoDietGuru Here is a fascinating video from Dr. Boros, I’m sure you will enjoy this! :) and don’t forget, from 100g fat your body produces 110g metabolic water! https://t.co/SOjnsBhXL6
@MarikaSboros You’re right, that’s bullshit! Everyone should listen the below video to understand the fact, that our body is producing enough water!! https://t.co/SOjnsBhXL6
