I enjoyed MAN ON THE INSIDE season 1 but it's very much the soft-focus American version of writing a story about age. I would strongly recommend the Chinese show THE LONG SEASON for being, as well as a full noir, actually much more direct about age, humiliation, and loss.
I don't read the International Journal of Cosmetic Science but I feel like I should make a full time job out of getting papers retracted that say things like this in 2006....
