Posts often reference personal experiences, humor, or specific symptoms, indicating deep individual engagement beyond surface-level discussion.
ImpactNeutral impact
While the discussions highlight personal health concerns and social perceptions, their overall influence on broader awareness or clinical practices appears limited.
Abstract in brief
Lumbar lordosis, a key aspect of posture, has been extensively studied, but measurement methods vary due to factors like patient positioning and vertebral inclusion.
The recommended method for radiologic assessment involves having the patient stand with arms supported and shoulders flexed at 30 degrees, but normal values differ based on individual characteristics such as age, gender, BMI, ethnicity, and activity level.
There is a significant link between lumbar lordosis and certain conditions like spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis, but the relationship with low back pain remains unclear, highlighting the need for further research to determine ideal lordosis ranges.]

@MTV_Hotties @Julia_Ruth96 Girl I believe you have a medical condition called lumbar lordosis. Your posture is extremely worrying and abnormal. That curve in your spine should be checked by a doctor.
Lumbar lordosis is the inward curve of the lower spine. When this curve becomes exaggerated (a condition called hyperlordosis), it often results from muscle imbalances - typically, tight hip flexors and lower back muscles combined with weak abdominal and gluteal muscles.

also of course not to be confused with lumbar lordosis the exact same posture but like because your back is fucked up
I know.
I've been trying to take a break.
I'm trying to renegotiate rent with grandma, but she seems to value that rent money and me doing chores for her everyday over me resting my lumbar lordosis inflicted spine with L1-L2 wedging.
I need Boomers to understand the "young" are getting old now.
Too much visceral fat can make things like stooping a chore, gives you lower back pain from prolonged standing as a result of lumbar lordosis, and other health considerations.
Also, for economic reasons. Have you seen how expensive food is?
And as a perk, I'll end up looking better, too.
It takes a bit of fiddling but highly rec!
Just be aware if it’s a lumbar lordosis type beat, the placement is gonna be lower/closer to hips than you think
Ko-Fi donations are also welcomed! I recently had a bill come in for my cervical verticalization and lumbar lordosis treatment, I'm just missing 559.47 USD left!
If you are unable to donate, shares are extremely appreciated!
A minor fear of mine (but not necessarily warranted) is that my ass will look like Hank Hill's if I don't walk around looking like I have a severe case of lumbar lordosis.
My arse, which has stuck out a lot since adolescence thanks to lumbar lordosis...is fuckin shrinking.
WOO HOO
Maybe some day I won't look like a lopsided sack of potatoes
DNH 43 has a human-like sacral tilt suggesting a well-developed a lumbar lordosis (lower back concavity that positions trunk over the hips). Some fossil hominins have less tilted sacra, but DNH 43 shows an otherwise australopith-like pelvis doesn't rule out human-like alignment of back & pelvis. 5/
I currently have 3 bulging discs, went thru emergency spinal surgery in Apr 2023 for a diff herniated disc, I have congenital spinal stenosis, lumbar lordosis & deformities, ALL caused by my natural size L breasts. CalOptima still hasn't gotten me my plastic surgery referral YEARS later. #AMA
A 28-year-old man with a 5-year history of progressive hip and back pain was admitted to the clinic. He reported bilateral hip joint pain exacerbated by squatting and standing up. Over time, he developed back pain without morning stiffness

In AIS, changes in fused lumbar lordosis (FSLL) at L1 increase L1-L2 lordosis (B=0.35, p=0.003), while at L3 they cause L4-5 to kyphose (B=-0.14, p=0.026). Lumbar Cobb angles improve (32.8°→11.1°, p<0.001) with stable SVA (0.1cm→-0.7cm, p<0.01). Careful FSLL/fusion planning avoids distal kyphosis.
2019, chiropractor visit and x-rays, cervical spine instability, and lumbar lordosis, my right femur is turned, as well as the formation of bone spurs in several places that are consistent with like, a 60 year old. Young people don’t just get bone spurs. (I hate chiropractors, btw.)
Hello medsky I feel like this means I'm completely valid being in debilitating pain all the time and that my rage at doctors telling me for years now that there is NO REASON FOR MY PAIN
is
understandable?
Yeah. They’re not very slowly destroying my back. Got that lumbar lordosis to even it out though.
So at least i guess i get to cheat my way into a bigger lookin butt. Lmao
