Abstract Synopsis

  • Deep learning involves multi-layered computational models that learn to recognize complex patterns in data, greatly advancing fields like speech recognition, visual recognition, and even areas like drug discovery and genomics.
  • These models use the backpropagation algorithm to fine-tune their internal settings, allowing them to discover detailed structures within large datasets.
  • Different types of neural networks, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs), are specialized for processing images, videos, sounds, and sequential data like text or speech.]
