  • The study found that cloned sheep generated by somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) do not show significant long-term health problems, even at an advanced age of 13 years.
  • Comprehensive assessments, including musculoskeletal, metabolic, and blood pressure tests, revealed that these aged clones remain healthy, normal in blood sugar levels, insulin sensitivity, and blood pressure, with only mild osteoarthritis observed.
