The group shows varied reactions, from supportive mentions of robotic surgery developments and real experiments like vascular surgery reviews, to dismissive comments questioning the practicality of surgery in space or joking about plastic surgeries. The tone shifts between curiosity, technical interest, and sarcasm, reflecting a recognition of both scientific possibilities and the humorous or exaggerated nature of some discussions.
AgreementNeither agree nor disagree
Discussions show mixed opinions, some supporting the idea of space surgery, others dismissing or questioning its relevance.
InterestModerate interest
While some posts express curiosity about surgical advancements in space, many seem indifferent or trivialize the topic.
EngagementModerate engagement
Participants refer to specific programs, experiments, and technological challenges, indicating moderate engagement.
ImpactNeutral impact
The overall influence on public or scientific views appears limited, with some recognizing potential but many considering it speculative or humorous.
Abstract in brief
The renewed interest in space exploration aims for missions to other planets, which pose challenges for medical care due to long distances and mission durations making Earth-based treatments impractical.
Space travel causes physiological changes like fluid shifts, cardiovascular effects, and muscle and bone loss, along with risks such as radiation exposure, trauma, and cancer.
Future space surgeries will require autonomous, adaptable medical technologies capable of handling various conditions independently, given the unpredictable nature of space-related health issues.]
Not really sure what is going on here but I love it. I know some journals accept joke papers occasionally but clearly marked as such, and rarely entirely fictional. This seems like no one actually reviewed it? Makes me want to write up my video about surgery in space!
If we are to master long-range, long-term space travel, we'll probably need to figure out how to deal with injuries and trauma care in this complex, resource-limited environment.

@Empty_America It’s all biology related. Giving birth in space, dealing with ionizing radiation based DNA and protein damage, inner ear formation development in microgravity, mental health issues of never being able to go outside. Doing surgery in space. We don’t know how to do any of it.
@RogueLou18 He definitely has the face of an astronaut surgeon who will revolutionize surgery in space.

@xihauntem Who has surgery in space of two week and it completely heals. This just show the rising case of imbecilic mentality on Kpop twt.

Motors fail in surgery. In space. In tight places.
Do you know Spiketon M1 doesn’t? Instead, it crawls like muscle.
Didn’t we just open-source a disruptive hardware in robotics?

Yikes!? or Good? Roboticized surgery in space. Robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery (RAMIS), is being explored for surgical care during long-duration spaceflights. @batko_anarkhiya I was thinking more about the sort of ~decade long stuff it'd take to set up manned asteroid mining or a lunar martian colonies. Reproduction and surgery in space are not at all solved. The other health effects are closer to alcoholism and chain smoking than death

@UtdDefence Yeah really shame only thing I had against him was him wearing a cap ...hate when GK do that lol other than that it's big "what if..." moment in clubs history. Gone from "any decent manager wins the league" to "open heart surgery" in space of 1 Ragnick interview.

@sirDukeDevin Question is what she is doing with the money. A real question. I mean if she use the money like Gates, than I prefare Miss plastic surgery in space.
@ClaudetteGGibs1 I think it probably was to see the effect of their plastic surgery in space. It was only 11 minutes, and nothing exploded, thankfully. Hope nothing leaks later.....
@atensnut They were able to make astounding contributions in the field of science. They are doing studies on each crew member concerning the affects of space on botox and silicone. One day, a man wanting to look like a woman will be able to have reconstructive surgery in space. Amazing!!! https://t.co/9mgwDG0TRu
I know Luke Farritor. He’s a brilliant, young man. He solved an ancient scroll challenge, worked at SpaceX, and is a Thiel Fellow. His father, Shane, is an accomplish entrepreneur and founder of the company that completed the first remote surgery in space. This would be quite the fall from Grace.

If anyone offers $100k for quick and simple tasks, or $400k a month for something that’s not brain surgery in space, the money is dirty, and the task is certainly illegal.
