Abstract Synopsis
- This study examined whether a 12-week mini trampoline exercise program could improve balance, mobility, strength, fear of falling, and bone density in older women with osteopenia, comparing those who participated in the exercises to those who did not.
- Participants were split into an intervention group that did trampoline exercises twice a week and a control group that only received standard treatment.
- Results showed significant improvements in balance, mobility, strength, gait speed, and fear of falling for the exercise group, indicating that the mini trampoline program is highly effective in enhancing these functional areas, although it did not significantly change bone mineral density.]
