Abstract Synopsis
- Quantum computers can tackle complex problems that classical computers struggle with, with boson sampling being a key example to show this advantage.
- The researchers conducted Gaussian boson sampling using 50 identical squeezed states and a specialized 100-mode interferometer, validating their output through various testing methods.
- Their photonic quantum computer achieved up to 76 output photon clicks, significantly outperforming traditional simulation methods and supercomputers by about ten times in speed.
