@RuncibleH I have to deliberately dehydrate myself in the evening to get a decent uninterrupted night’s sleep, which has been difficult with drinking Canvent beers. I rehydrate ASAP in the morning. Skipped the beers yesterday, 7 1/2 hours uninterrupted sleep. Colchicine for acute gout!

@ferbotto I prescribe colchicine for acute gout. Diarrhoea is a very common side effect. Once you deviate from established principles to get into the realm of shamanism. Some of my patients say, my glucose is low normal. Do I have hypoglyc. Low normal is still normal. P <0.08 isn’t P <0.05

@psufka Agreed nothing inherently wrong w/testing novel tx against plbo. We lose something if we don’t test drugs against each other, though. Maintenance in myositis? Nsaid v. CS v. colchicine for acute gout? Large scale pragmatic HtH investigator run trials could help.
