- The development of the NGLYcanyzer system enables rapid, automated online monitoring of monoclonal antibody (mAb) glycosylation during biomanufacturing, enhancing process understanding and quality control in continuous production.
- The system integrates mAb sampling, deglycosylation, glycan labeling with fluorescent dyes, and glycan analysis within 3 hours, using advanced chromatography techniques and optimized fluorescent labeling methods to improve detection sensitivity.
- Implementation of this platform at upstream bioreactors allows real-time, near-instantaneous monitoring of glycosylation patterns in biologics like Trastuzumab, supporting more efficient and flexible biomanufacturing processes aligned with regulatory expectations.
