Abstract in brief
- Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is aggressive and often diagnosed late, leading to poor survival rates; early detection is challenging due to lack of symptoms.
- Chronic inflammation plays a significant role in the development of GBC, regardless of whether it's associated with gallstones.
- Advances in research and treatment strategies, including improved diagnostic methods and therapies like chemotherapy and immunotherapy, are necessary to enhance GBC management and outcomes.

@TonyJ64601 @mgstupelo @RepMTG So,based on that argument, if you were to get gallbladder cancer tomorrow, which is a rare cancer, you should have to pay the mostly full price of the treatment, since its rare, and not everyone gets it. Full price could be $1 million. Are you ok with that? Thats your argument.

I'm so sorry. I lost my dad 9 yrs ago to gallbladder cancer. It was already stage 4 when we found it. They told us he had 3 months and he was gone in exactly 3 months. Losing a parent is an emotional struggle and I hope you are as well as you can be under the circumstances.
I also asked about getting a colonoscopy (y'know, given that my mom died of colon cancer and my dad died of gallbladder cancer) but she said that since my inflammation test came back negative, there "was no need for the test at this time."
