@ATinyGreenCell I think there are a few papers on small sets of validated parts, but usually just the common (viral) ones. I like this paper as a starting point: https://t.co/3se3sVwfR2 However I wish there would be a way more extensive list of plant parts, which are fully characterized

Abstract Synopsis

  • Plant biotechnology is advancing with new transformation and genome engineering techniques, but designing transformation constructs remains complex due to growing demands for delivery and expression in plant cells.
  • A universal Golden Gate cloning toolkit is introduced that aligns with the Phytobrick standard and allows for easier assembly of complex DNA structures, improving on existing kits in capacity, flexibility, and extensibility.
  • The toolkit includes a library of new Phytobricks with important regulatory elements and coding sequences, and features dual-luciferase assays to study the effects of different genetic components on gene expression, facilitating quicker testing and implementation of new plant engineering tools.
