Abstract in brief
The updated ACVIM consensus statement on leptospirosis in dogs highlights recent advances in the understanding, diagnosis, and prevention of the disease, noting its continued prevalence across various dog populations and regions.
A multidisciplinary expert panel used the Delphi method to develop and vote on recommendations, incorporating input from veterinary medicine, human medicine, and public health professionals, with transparency about levels of agreement and abstentions.
The revised guidelines aim to aid veterinary practitioners in diagnosing, managing, and preventing leptospirosis in dogs and cats, reflecting new scientific insights and diagnostic tools since the last consensus.]

RE: "help with some of the Mars stuff."
My subject matter expert was in space. Usually, when I was struggling with a manual, I would text him.
So I asked it to translate the acronyms and present it like a transcript. Then I wrote the scene & asked him, "how much did I get wrong?"
I did this once
i thought the browser was going to do a year in review and almost left my body. it was just a recap if their updates, not me looking at 3d printers for way too long
Or does the high-level work have to be rooted in the concrete? I’m skeptical, because empirically high-level problem decomposition and project/program management do seem to be extremely transferable skills across very different domains. But maybe they have to be learned in the concrete?
Now that we have these tools, is it possible to have part of the education go high-level to low? Start practicing breaking down large problems in the abstract, and get good at that? Perhaps while also teaching some low-level skills?
And so you see things like basic CS education not really giving students an advantage in say problem solving or tackling large projects over students in other disciplines - which seems odd (isn’t that what development _is_) but we teach that mostly through experience and apprenticeship.
We’ve taught (or learned independently) coding from the ground up, syntax then simple routines then larger systems. Partly for historical reasons, but also partly - well, how else are you going to do it?
ents, but most of the show just has this undeniably fun energy that makes me smile. The colors, the music, the way these characters talk, it's all so fun and nice
I really like how noncommittal the world of the show is. There's animal people, plant people, human people, and so many other people, th
But once I got past that and watched the rest, I really loved every episode
This show is so funny. Whether it's verbal or visual, there's so many amazing jokes that make me laugh way more often than they don't
I also really love the energy this show has. It can be emotional and have its sadder mom
New show in the pinned
Oh my god man, I fucking loved this
When I started watching this show, I was a little worried it wouldn't be for me. I enjoyed the first episode and all, but it took a little bit of time for me to really get into it and it's definitely the one I feel the least fondness for.
They may be playing off a certain image of tech opponents, but I don’t think the bad criticism of many tech opponents is really to blame, as annoying as those opponents are. It’s kind of like how the GOP plays off a certain image of Dems, but Dems can’t defuse the criticism by not being like that.
I just heard that former senator Ben Sasse has terminal pancreatic cancer. Let me just tell you that he is a republican I would vote for if he was running for something He is a common sense moderate republican why does bad news happen to good people Why can’t we hear a diagnosis like this for Trump
Well, outside urban areas, particularly in the more sparsely populated states, where there might only be one practical route between towns for *everyone*, it can *feel* like they're everywhere, because they make up a significant %age of long distance traffic.
I used to think Mr Potter was a good portrayal of the wealth class.
But it turns out It’s A Wonderful Life actually needed a side plot involving sex trafficking, pedophilia, and witness tampering.

video i made contemplating events, how so much attention is given to the N word despite considerable cultural softening of its meaning, but they NEVER analyze the frequently used label of "boy" to control in the south. Its cuz they are controlling with the same psychology.

Boots are my favorite footwear. And what do you know--it's winter now! Even if you made a little mess grinding against them, everyone will just think it's a little wet from trudging through snow.
What do you think, toy? Want to share a secret with me?
