Abstract Synopsis
- The study aimed to explore the link between Decipher genomic classifier scores and metastatic spread as evidenced by PSMA PET/CT scans in prostate cancer patients.
- Data from 586 patients (329 pretreatment, 257 post-radical prostatectomy) showed that higher Decipher scores correlated with a higher likelihood of nonlocalized disease, indicating worse outcomes.
- Results indicated distinct differences in genetic profiles between localized and nonlocalized disease, with nonlocalized cases showing more mutations and specific transcriptomic signatures related to metabolism and androgen receptor signaling.
