Abstract Synopsis
- Cellular differentiation is influenced by complex gene regulation, making it challenging to identify key regulators of this process.
- A new computational tool called BENEIN helps identify master regulators of differentiation, specifically in human intestinal cells.
- MYB, HDAC2, and FOXA2 were pinpointed as crucial regulators, and their combined knockdown can transform colorectal cancer cells back into normal-like enterocytes, promoting differentiation and reducing cancer traits.
