Abstract in brief

  • Coarse-grained protein models simplify the complex details of proteins by reducing the level of atomic detail, making it easier and faster to study their structure, movements, and interactions.
  • These models focus on how they are designed, including how protein parts are represented, how their energy is calculated, and how they explore different shapes and states of proteins.
  • Coarse-grained models are especially useful when combined with more detailed all-atom simulations, helping scientists study large protein systems more efficiently through multiscale modeling approaches.]

During the folding process (check the video which shows a schematic protein) a protein minimizes the energetic interactions among the aminoacids that compose it until it finds the minimum energetic structure and becomes stable. But there is a BUT in here. https://t.co/So1nuaxok1
